Bassel Jadaa’s extensive photographic work includes portraits for individuals and family, weddings, landscapes, business, design, and fine arts. His search and documentation of spontaneous ‘slices’ of life has taken him through cities as London, Seville, Washington, Denver, Taos and Tenerife.
Mr. Jadaa has exhibited his photos in museums in Virginia, Jacksonville galleries, and at the St. Augustine Art Association Art Gallery where he won an award.
Bassel Jadaa’s interests include photography, graphic/web design and teaching. As a wedding photographer Bassel is continuously searching for those magical moments as they happen. This technique commonly known as photojournalism is one of Mr. Jadaa's specialties. As one of the photographers for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, he is able to capture some of the greatest moments on stage including several operas.
Mr. Jadaa has also designed some of the leading publications for Northeast Florida, major websites, and organizations' marketing materials. He also teaches a location photo class and a foreign film appreciation class. Bassel Jadaa has resided in Jacksonville, Florida since 1998.
Bassel Jadaa has an M. A. in Film & Telecommunications from San Diego State University. He is also a member of several professional photography organizations and business organizations. Mr. Jadaa also mentors young aspiring photographers.
